What impact you'll make:

This is a position on the TX Business Line Finance team for the Gas Power Heavy Duty Gas Turbine (HDGT) Global Services business. The TX Business Line Finance Manager will partner closely with senior Commercial and Operational leaders within the TX business line to provide quantifiable insights, root cause analysis and measurement of KPIs as part of delivering TX strategic and financial targets. This position requires subject matter knowledge and experience across the full ITR spectrum as well as independent problem solving and a strong mindset towards continuous improvement. This position reports to the TX Business Line CFO.

Job Description

What you'll do
  • Support and enhance root cause analysis behind business KPIs as part of Monthly Operating Review (MOR). Help identify drivers behind shifting trends and convert into tangible actions.
  • Provide financial guidance and operational analysis for the TX Business Line to support growth, manage risk and position the portfolio for optimized cash generation all tied to actions driven through TX Business Line leadership.
  • Connect operating actions to financial outcomes in terms of revenue, margins and net cash to provide a holistic and balanced view of risk/return on initiatives tied to growth in the TX business line.
  • Partnering with Sales Ops and Commercial leaders to consistently analyze the financial performance of varying aspects of the TX business line including core and upgrades segments, pricing and risk management.
  • Provide financial support to global standard account planning processes and ongoing Hoshin initiatives to help identify process improvement opportunities, quantify performance and connect outcomes back to financial targets.
  • Provide financial support to Sustainable Productivity Hoshin initiatives to help identify process improvement opportunities, quantify performance and connect outcomes back to financial targets.
  • Work in partnership between the TX business line and regional partners to help develop consistency in assessing the performance of the TX portfolio across all stakeholder groups.
  • Build, enhance and measure operating standards partnering with the Continuous Improvement (CI) team by providing financial analysis to help measure the effectiveness of initiatives tied to financial outcomes.
  • Partner with the FP&A organization to connect TX Commercial leaders to key financial rhythms such as punchlist/Finance MOR, Long-range Forecast, Budget and Early Reads)
  • Responsible for translating concepts, developing strategy, creating programs to drive change that is responsive to the external environment. You will partner closely with operating leaders across GE Gas Power to deliver on business line wide financial & operational targets


What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 5 years of finance, accounting, or audit experience

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $124,900.00 - 208,100.00 per year. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, geographic location, and skill set.
This position is also eligible for a 15% annual performance bonus. This position will stay open on the career website until at least 4/17/2025.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%,120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
