Sr. Business Analyst

The Sr. Business Analyst (BA) will be responsible for reviewing requirements from the client, performing analysis and presenting findings to the team. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for working with the Product Owner and Architects to generate user stories for use by the Scrum team and assisting the QA team with building test cases. The candidate will also be responsible for basic-approval testing of new functionality. The BA will be interacting with external clients daily and must be comfortable doing so. The role will report to the Product Owner.
Responsibilities
Review and capture architecture requirements and interpret into user stories.
Liaison between architects and development team.
Review and analyze business requirements or stories provided.
Perform gap analysis and present to internal team and external clients.
Write user stories based on requirements and discussions with the business team, including acceptance criteria.
Work with QA to generate relevant test plans and do initial review of end-2-end testing results.
Work with Scrum Master and Product Owner to create and organize Epics, Features, and Stories to provide a high-level plan of effort to share with the external client.
Ability to understand and write user stories.
Aggressive troubleshooting and bug diagnostic skills/techniques.
Collaborate with team to understand possible gaps and development needs.
Communicate with the client regarding findings or questions.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how Product Owner and QA function within it.
Required Qualifications
5+ Years of experience in airline information systems environment.
5+ Years of experience as Business Analyst in consulting role.
Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
Self-motivation and ability to stay focused while multi-tasking.
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Azure DevOps/Studio Online.
Experience with Soap UI/Ready API and Postman.
