About the Role:
The candidate will work as the FIAR (Financial Improvement and Accounting Readiness) Program Manager and will assist DLA (Defense Logistics Agency) by providing subject matter expertise, in the areas of stewardship, business process improvement, and audit sustainment initiatives.
Ideal Candidate: the candidate will have
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or business management related field or relevant experience
Experience: Minimum of four years of experience in business consulting, process improvement strategy, financial management, or a related field.

About the Role:
The candidate will work as the FIAR (Financial Improvement and Accounting Readiness) Program Manager and will assist DLA (Defense Logistics Agency) by providing subject matter expertise, in the areas of stewardship, business process improvement, and audit sustainment initiatives.
Ideal Candidate: the candidate will have
- PMP and CPA
- Demonstrated experience planning, designing, implementing, and supporting large DoD financial programs to include federal financial audit experience (A123, ERM)
- Experience leading teams responsible for audit readiness and sustainment strategy processes within DoD.
- Demonstrated experience developing program plans and facilitating resolution of all issues to reach program goals.
- Experience managing and communicating ongoing changes in tasks, goals, or performance.
- Demonstrated experience serving as primary liaison with project/program sponsors, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Familiarity with DoD and DLA financial management policies and procedures.
- Desired Certifications: CIA, CISA, CDFM, Six Sigma green/black belt, or CGFM certification
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or business management related field or relevant experience
