Manager Finance and Operations

The Manager Finance and Operations:

• Oversees all financial activities for BayCare Alliant Hospital.
• Utilizes BayCare Finance System Office for support in the establishment and maintenance of the Hospitals accounting principles, practices and procedures for the maintenance of its fiscal records and preparation of its financial reports; participate in general accounting, cost accounting and budgetary files.
• Appraises operating results in terms of costs, forecasts, operating policies, trends, cash management, reimbursements, and increased profit opportunities.
• Ensures that the assigned Hospital financial reports meet all audit requirements and that Leadership and the Board of Directors receives accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and supporting documentation.
• Provides Leadership with tools required for monitoring activity from a financial viewpoint, decision making and strategic planning.
• Supports Leadership in achieving departmental and organizational goals.
• Ensures that all financial regulatory filing requirements are met.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required experience:

• Required 7 years - Accounting or 7 years - Finance.
• Preferred - 3 years in Healthcare Accounting or Finance Management.

Required Education:

• Required - Bachelors - Accounting; Or - Bachelors - Finance; Or - Bachelors - Related Field;
• Preferred - Masters - Business Administration; Preferred - Masters - Healthcare Administration; Preferred - Masters - Related Field
• Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Location: Mease Dunedin

Status: Full Time, Exempt

Shift Hours: 9am - 5pm
