Our Security Technology Operations team is comprised of qualified and experienced professionals who set industry standards within the utility sector. As technology evolves, so do our security operations, shifting from a strong field presence to more technologically driven methods. Our team manages and supports complex security systems and their integrations for fully automated solutions, including network video recorders, DVRs, identity and access management systems, drone detection, shooter detection, ground-based radar, asset management solutions, visitor management systems, user behavioral analytics systems, and other advanced technologies.
Position Summary
We are seeking an Expert Program Managerto manage multiple initiatives and projects to support all physical security operational technologies and assets. You will develop and implement process improvements, produce reports, and road maps. You will work cross-functionally with other lines of businesses and external stakeholders to influence outcomes. The position requires experience with physical security to provide end-to-end program and project support, financial oversight, and analysis & governance.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location at least once a month and or as business needs require. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory and will be agreed upon by the successful candidate and hiring leader
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and the middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.
A reasonable salary range is:
Bay Area Minimum: $122,000
Bay Area Maximum: $194,000

California Maximum: $184,000

Job Responsibilities
- Managing aspects of security technology operations program implementation and operations by utilizing PG&E's LEAN Clear Sky playbook.
- Act as "front door" for Developing, measuring, and reporting on success of the program using operating reviews, Tactical Implementation Plans (TIP), facilitating large format meetings and business reviews.
- Developing metrics, procedures, objectives, and methods to assess program progress while utilizing established standards and quality objectives
- Managing relationship with and providing direction to vendor(s)
- Contribute towards security technology innovation and people strategy by collaborating with Security Technology Architecture, Corporate Security PMO and Security Control center teams.
- Defining the Scope of Work (SOWs), physical security requirements, design and implementation standards for special projects initiated by security technology operations team.
- Monitoring budgets and forecasts for Software Support renewals, Staff Augmentation, and other program related expenses.
- Identifying and maintaining strong working relationships with all strategic programs and partners within and outside PG&E.
- Collaborating with Operational Technology Support team to develop and maintain Physical security asset maintenance and testing, lifecycle replacement plan.
- Recording, tracking, and communicating issues, risks, changes, and status reports using PG&E standard tools
- Managing BCSI share point repository, documentation, agreements, and system related licenses.
- Maintaining team cohesion by clarifying company values, goals, eliminating silos and practicing team building.
- Identify processes needing improvement and work towards change management with team manager and supervisor
Qualifications
Minimum:
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
- 8 years of related work experience to include experience in Information Technology, Project Management or managing one or more moderately complex product/software development cycles/projects
Desired:
- Understanding of physical security and cyber security principles, technologies, and functions
- Excellent problem solving, analytical, technical, written, verbal communication and facilitation skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to executives
- Working knowledge of implementing LEAN and process improvements
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite of applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as NERC CIP, FERC, TSA, CPUC
- Experience with project methodologies and programs such as Planisware, Agile and Waterfall
- Understanding of ISO 55001 principles and objectives for developing and maintaining an effective Asset Management System (AMS)
- Working knowledge of systems like SAP, PRJ, ARIBA, ATLAS
- Understanding of Infrastructure and Application implementation
- Skilled in using BMC Remedy ticketing and reporting system, Microsoft Office tools, Microsoft power platform suite and other monitoring tools
- Advanced understanding of project management principles and methodologies
- Understanding of PG&E's business and IT strategies and objectives like BPD, TNS
- Workforce planning and resource management skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from Project Management Institute (PMI)
