Overview
Position Summary:
We are looking for a Technology Product Owner to organize, prioritize and assess work for our MCDS scrum teams. As a Technology Product Owner with Mortgage Connect Document Solutions, you will add value by prioritizing the right work, at the right times, and making sure everyone on the team is aligned on the reasoning behind that work-to help ensure the continuous delivery of value to our users. The technology product owner partners with the MCDS IT Technology team and the MCDS line of business team to help create a product vision for ALL of the MCDS products.
The Technology Product Owner responsibilities include gathering feature requests through a streamlined intake process, setting priorities through ROI assessments while coordinating sprints to deliver a product vision (for ALL of MCDS).To be successful in this role, you should be able to identify user needs and work with cross-functional teams to manage product releases. Ultimately, you'll help us roll-out products that deliver our company's vision.

What you will do
- Gather and communicate business requirements and ROIs via a standardized intake process to the MCDS IT Technology team

- Incorporate feature requests into product roadmap
- Assist with final prioritization of the business asks against MCDS's entire backlog of work
- Review and approve new release functionalities and test cases, so the IT Teams can understand the valid business use cases
- Assist with settting sprint goals
- Plan releases and upgrades
- Follow progress of work and address production issues during sprints
- Report to stakeholders and executives on key strategic MCDS projects via roadmaps, budgets, and various meetings
- Manage all MCDS product documentation: SOPs, User Guides, Runbooks, Process Flows, etc.
- Analyze preferences and requests of end users
- Refine our agile methodology based on results and client feedback
- Keep track of industry trends
What you will bring
- Work experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management
- Familiarity with agile is a plus
- Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle
- Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies
- Team spirit and good communication abilities
- Good organizational skills
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field a plus
