We are seeking Bridge Engineers to join our dynamic Bridge Sector in Fairfax, VA. At TYLin, you'll work on exciting infrastructure projects from concept to completion, contributing to the development of bridges that connect communities and improve transportation networks.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You'll Do:

• Perform structural analysis and design calculations to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Develop bridge layouts, structural details, 3D models, construction plans, specifications and material quantity calculations.
• Utilize industry-leading software (Finite Element, CSIBridge, AutoCad, MicroStation, SAP2000 and more).
• Coordinate with highway, traffic, and civil engineers to deliver multi-disciplinary solutions.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on bridges or structures from an ABET Accredited University. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum range of 4-10 years of bridge design and analysis experience.
• PE license, or the ability to obtain within one year is preferred.
• Familiarity with AASHTO, and DOT design and standards from agencies such as VDOT, DDOT, NJDOT preferred.
• Experience applying engineering software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, CSI Bridge, VBridge, LPile, LEAPBridge, SAP2000, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written and presentation skills.
• Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.
• High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.
• Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.

Additional Information

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $ $92,000 - $146,600 annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills, experience, education, and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer.
