Description:
The Engineer II is responsible for the implementation of the entire project cycle and provides engineering support for operating assets.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Required Skills/Abilities:
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
Proficiency in engineering principles and practices relevant to the energy sector.
Experience in project management, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong technical skills in areas such as design, construction, and operation of energy infrastructure.
Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Ability to analyze and solve technical problems related to energy systems and equipment.
Experience with engineering software and tools used in the energy industry.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on achieving project goals and deadlines.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage project documentation and requirements effectively.
Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship in engineering practices.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering required
Previous natural gas industry experience required
3+ years of engineering project management experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience with engineering analysis including specialty software
Certifications:
None required
Physical Demands and Hazard for Field Employees:
This position may require occasional travel to remote sites, potential exposure to flammable material, adherence to safety protocols, compliance with operating regulations, and will require rigorous physical demands.

- Implements entire project cycle for projects of moderate size and complexity including design, development, material procurement, construction, and project completion.
- Communicates with company personnel and contractors for project implementation.
- Prepares technical construction specifications for individual projects.
- In facility planning role, prepares and presents pipeline simulation results for new and expansion projects.
- Reviews project plans and details for code compliance, proper company and safety standards, and good engineering practices.
- Evaluates project bids and makes material selections.
- Effectively manages budgets, timelines, and problem resolution related to multiple projects.
- Provides engineering and troubleshooting support for operating assets.
- Manages and executes small to medium projects.
- Participates in PSM activities such as PHA/LOPAs, PSSRs, and MOC processes.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
