Position Summary
The Mid-Level Quality Assurance Engineer will work cross-functionally within our organization, focusing on accounting and treasury systems. This role will work across multiple development teams and closely with the business to help orchestrate testing of cross-functional operations. This position is responsible for learning how multiple teams and products interact to deliver a larger end goal and, in that, driving processes and procedures to ensure quality and timely delivery.

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this role is $82,000 - $103,000 annually. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certification, and other factors. Responsibilities
As a Mid-Level Quality Assurance Engineer, you will:
- Learn and take ownership of the processes for testing designated projects related to accounting and treasury systems.
- Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.
- Document end-to-end workflows in concise, regression test format.
- Work closely with development and business teams to fully test new features, defect fixes, and enhancements in Workday and FIS Integrity.
- Create, execute, and maintain functional and regression test suites.
- Collect detailed evidence of test case execution.
- Report, track, and help determine priorities for enhancements and defects.
- Work with the Test Automation team to identify new functionality to be automated and included in automated regression libraries.
- Actively support/troubleshoot escalated issues from both internal and external
counterparts.
- Ensure compliance with SOX and regulatory standards through rigorous testing and documentation.
Characteristics
You are a strong fit for this role if you have:
- 3-5 years of software quality assurance experience; fintech focus is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Workday (or similar ERPs such as Oracle or SAP), TPG (or similar Portfolio Management systems), or FIS (or similar Treasury Management Systems such as Kyriba or GTreasury).
- Experience testing to SOX and regulatory standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance concepts and methodologies (ISTQB CTFL certification preferred).
- Take pride in and ownership of your testing and the systems you test.
- Hands-on experience with API, functional, compatibility, acceptance/smoke testing, ad- hoc/exploratory, database, regression, and staging testing.
- Experience using issue tracking systems (Jira, Bugzilla, etc.) and test case management tools (Xray, qTest, etc.).
- Mid-level SQL experience, including writing, reading, and understanding complex joins and query logic.
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, including the ability to solve complex problems in the face of time, pressure, and information/resource constraints.
- Ability to manage continuously changing business needs.
- Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
