Seeking a hands-on Data Platform Manager to lead a small team (2-5) in onboarding, maintaining, and automating enterprise data platforms. This role combines platform administration, cloud service configuration, and team leadership. Candidates should bring strong technical experience, particularly with Azure or similar, and a proactive, independent work style.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a hybrid/offshore team; drive priorities and delivery
• Administer and support platforms across Windows and Linux environments
• Configure and integrate cloud services (Key Vaults, storage, VMs, VNets)
• Establish SLAs, formalize onboarding processes, and ensure platform security
• Automate maintenance, updates, and compliance tasks
• Monitor system health, perform upgrades, and ensure regulatory alignment
• Drive structure, documentation, and operational consistency

Required Skills:

• 5+ years in enterprise platforms/admin, scripting (IaC), and cloud services
• Strong Azure (or equivalent cloud) experience, Terraform, and Kubernetes
• Fluent in enterprise networking concepts (private links, certs, VLANs)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently with remote teams
• Experience in regulated environments or familiarity with change control processes

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to Databricks, Airflow, Kafka, and enterprise app onboarding
• Experience bringing structure and automation to platform operations
