Team Introduction
We're looking for an individual with a strong entrepreneurial, strategic and business operational background to join our high performing Monetization Strategy & Operations team. The Central Strategy, Planning, and Operations team drives strategic growth for SMBs by generating market insights, analyzing competitors, and identifying new opportunities to shape high-impact strategies. This team leads business planning and target-setting across Sales, Product, and Growth while ensuring strong performance tracking through deep dives, reporting, and infrastructure improvements. We develop and optimize global incentives and policies to drive product adoption and advertiser engagement. With a focus on operational excellence, our goal is to enhance sales processes, tests new approaches, and improves efficiency across global operations. Internships at TikTok aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. This Internship Program runs for 12 weeks beginning in May/June 2025. Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the following summer internship start dates below:

We will prioritize candidates who are able to commit to these start dates. Please state your availability clearly in your resume (Start date, End date).

Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze data on market trends, customer behaviors, and competitor landscape, identify opportunities, risks, and industry benchmarks, synthesize insights into actionable recommendations.
- Analyze internal and external data to identify operational efficiencies, growth opportunities, and performance gaps.
- Support strategic decision-making with data-backed insights.
- Assist in building financial models to evaluate potential business scenarios.
- Create reports and presentations to visualize findings.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Relevant prior experience in a management consulting, operations, strategy or growth role within a fast-paced technology company.
- Advanced analytical skills; ability to gather, synthesize, and structure data in a meaningful way for analysis and modeling, create reports, and influence decision making.
- Strong proficiency in modeling and narrative development (advanced Excel, Powerpoint, and G-Suite skills).
- Demonstrating structured and strategic approaches to solving complex business problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Currently pursuing an MBA from a leading university.
Preferred qualifications:
- Prior experience in researching/benchmarking.

[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $40- $40.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year).
