Join our team as a Manager, Clinic Infrastructure! In this role you'll collaborate with our Architecture team to implement IT environments for Eyecare clinics across Canada and the USA. You'll lead, coach and mentor a technical team to drive success!

What We You Be Doing?

  • Managing the rollout new equipment, services and infrastructure across over 300 locations, while driving continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining comprehensive documentation
  • Leading Infrastructure projects using very efficient and effective AGILE methodologies
  • Managing a technical team, providing mentorship, coaching, training, and fostering an environment that enables success
  • Securing the environment in each clinic from external threats and breaches of data and/or privacy
  • Overseeing transition implementation projects to ongoing operational support by the IT Service Desk and Technical Support Teams
  • Performing ticket management, handling difficult issues, urgent break fix, and providing third level support for clinics
  • Collaborating with Architecture team to implement IT environment for clinics across Canada and the USA
  • Staying up to date on technology trends, maintain professional designations


As The Successful Candidate You Have:

  • Post secondary degree in information technology
  • 5+ yrs in infrastructure role in retail environments
  • 3+ yrs in managing technical personnel
  • Scripting experience and familiarity using PowerShell
  • Experience with and mastery of Azure and AWS platforms
  • High competency with Active Directory, Radius, DHCP, Group Policy, DNS and other Infrastructure technologies
  • Familiarity with project management and ITSM applications
  • Knowledge of networking, rationalizing cloud strategies, exposure to the medical field with PIPEDA and HIPAA or a focus on cybersecurity would all be considered advantageous
  • Management and configuration of network solutions across multiple locations, including SD-WAN via Meraki
  • Ability to train less experienced personnel in hard skills listed above
  • Ability to collaborate with and support stakeholders across multiple business units
  • AZ-305 or similar Azure Certification
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Professional (CCNP) would be preferred
  • Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) or similar would be beneficial

The expected compensation for this position is between $94,100.00, to $117,600.00 annually considering factors like experience, skills, and qualifications.
