Senior RMF / INFOSEC Analyst

This role supports a NAVAIR customer in Patuxent River, Maryland. Remote candidates will be considered for this role.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

As the Senior RMF professional part of the Package Submission Officer (PSO) Team:

• Serve as a subject matter expert to NAVAIR Program Executive Offices
• Review PEO/PMA Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts
• Perform A&A (Assessment and Authorization) support and guide on process implementation
• Ensure the implementation of the established security controls and control statements have been entered into the eMASS
• Review security controls, security technical implementation guides (STIGs)
• Support vulnerability scans engineering change proposals in conducting their reviews
• Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information.
• May ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure.
• May respond to computer security breaches and viruses
• May perform cyber forensic analysis in response to cyber threats in hardware and software environments.

Basic Requirements:
eMASS experience required.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree and 10 years of experience (Substitutions include Associates Degree and 14 years of experience or HS Diploma and 16 years of experience.)

Required Certifications:

• CompTIA Security+ (at a minimum)
• Operating System (OS) certification(s)

Preferred Certifications:

• Navy Fully Qualified Validator Level 2

Security Clearance:

• Must have a Secret Clearance (must be a US Citizen), with ability to obtain up to a Top Secret

Telework and Travel:

• Approximately 80% Telework 20% On Site.
• 0% Estimated Travel.

Contract:

• This position is supporting an active, funded contract.
