Telecommuting: Employee may be able to telecommute, but the employee must remain living within a commutable distance of the Austin, TX LPL office location and report to that office regularly.
JOB DUTIES: Automate tests using internal and open-source tools and infrastructure and review user interfaces for user experience, conformity and functionality. Develop automation test script using Java Script, typescript, Selenium, and SauceLab. Review user interfaces for conformity and functionality. Work with software engineers to understand product architecture and features. Participate in design solution on functionality development and testing during planning sessions. Document and track bugs to closure and analyze test results, advocate for quality in every phase of the development process. Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software basic qualifications. Review other team members code changes and provide suggestion/comments. Mentor them on code quality. Design and Develop dashboards using development tools for QE org metrics reporting. Perform testing and certify the integrations and data integrity. Create and maintain data scenarios to support test plans and test cases. Analyze test results to ensure quality through-out all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Engineer, Software Development Test QE (or a closely related occupation) performing end-to-end testing of software applications for the financial services industry.
Alternatively, Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years as a Senior Engineer, Software Development Test QE (or a closely related occupation) performing end-to-end testing of software applications for the financial services industry.

Pay Range:
$127,000- $137,000
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. - DE utilizing SQL server procedures, views, indexes and performance tuning to configure and enhance application performance and functionality.
- DE developing, enhancing, and maintaining the automation framework of API and UI database with a focus on test strategies, plans, cases, and results using, Java, JavaScript, .Net, and Selenium.
- DE validating and certifying all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile methodology.
