The Technology Portfolio Lead is responsible for providing program management support to project teams.

- Portfolio Epics Management (Demand & Delivery)
- People Management & Coaching
- Quality Management
- Reporting

- Governance of processes, standards, etc.
The Technology Portfolio Lead works closely with project and scrum teams and reports directly to the VP of Technology Portfolio Management.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Project, Scrum, Technology, Business and Vendors to align delivery to OKRs to the program and portfolio
- Present portfolio health to SVP Accountable(s) bi-weekly
- Accountable for product budget to ensure alignment to strategic play / domain / programs
- Manage the program budget & coordinate with finance to assure funds are available, accounted and properly reported, including Planview timesheet management / governance
- Manage Demand Intake for the Program in LPL PDLC (Demand and Delivery Framework), ensuring demand aligns to available budget, handle new Intake requests ensuring availability of funding, or prepare required documentation for additional funding asks
- Aligns with Chief Product Manager and Chief Technology Owner on expected planning outcomes, OKRs and Tech Stack
- Creates and updates reporting, budgeting needs and Cost Saving Analysis
- Drive Impact Analysis for pre-defined initiatives and ensure teams have necessary resources to deliver working tested product
- Aligns with Chief Product Manager and Chief Technology Owner to rationalize internal and external roadmaps based on team capacity
- Define output of a Domain from a planning perspective
- Domain output vs reprioritization analysis
- Outline efficiency analysis
- Identifies and resolves bottlenecks across the entire solution
- When running in SAFe agile, as STE facilitates the large solution-level events and monitors the solution Kanban and solution health via appropriate metrics
- Provide leadership to Release Train Engineers, Program/ Project Managers, and/or Scrum Masters as needed, create a positive team environment, and provide direction in ambiguous situations
- May function as a Release Train Engineer
- Understand how individual projects affect the program & portfolio and exercise judgement in raising issues and risks to the program/portfolio level
- Provide bi-weekly program health reports and participate in monthly portfolio reviews
- Document new requests as part of the intake team in LPL PDLC

Requirements:
- 4 year college degree, preferably in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Communications or related technical field
- 10 plus years of experience managing highly complex and matrixed IT programs budgets up to $25M
- 5 plus years of experience managing people with a proven track record of developing talent
- 2 plus years of experience as a Release Train Engineer
Core Competencies:
- Deep understanding of and ability to manage Project and Software Development Life Cycle(s) using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Comfortable exercising judgment and using analytical skills in ambiguous situations
- Outstanding attention to detail combined with the ability to see the big picture
- Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to actively listen, problem solve, and communicate effectively with both technical and business users
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment; proactive in seeking out information when necessary
- Experience monitoring and managing vendor performance
- Experience managing requirement solution workshops
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project or similar tools
- Strong knowledge of JIRA, Aha!, Confluence or similar tools
Preferences:
- Agile or PMP certification
