If so, State Fund's Claims department has multiple immediate openings for multiple Claims Managers in our Fresno Insured, Sacramento State Contract Services, and Rohnert Park State Contract Services programs. The successful candidates will be team builders and leaders with proven technical expertise and the ability to work cooperatively, yet independently. This is a unique opportunity to be a member of our enthusiastic and dedicated Claims Management team.
This position requires the ability to:
- Manage (plan, organize, direct and control) units responsible for pro-actively adjusting, finalizing and controlling a case assignment and/or (a) specialized assignment(s)
- Ensure timely and accurate liability decisions and benefit provisions
- Ensure timely, current, accurate, and adequate estimates and case documentation to protect the fiscal integrity of State Fund
- Management and coordinate special projects
- Develop and oversee implemenation of strategic and budgetary goals
- Promote coordination and consistency among various adjusting locations, Corporate Claims
- Contiribute to task force projects claims-related issues
New to state candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of the alternate salary range when applicable. Placement to an alternate salary range may be based on education or experience identified in your state application.
