SUMMARY
The successful candidate will be a strategic individual with 15+ years of executive-level accounting and financial
leadership experience in a large manufacturing facility in the automotive industry. Provides technical knowledge
and expertise in the operation and support of the financial health and stability of the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - include the following:
A. Directing all aspects of accounting operations, overseeing all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll, and financial reporting.
B. Analyzing company's financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance with budgets. Issue regular status and ad hoc reports to senior management.
C. Providing strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth needs.
D. Developing and coordinating all relationships with lending/financial institutions.
E. Developing and maintaining all necessary accounting policies and systems, including general ledger and financial reporting. Ensuring that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
F. Assisting senior management in financial planning and results management. Work with other team members to understand revenue and cost drivers and define appropriate reports for tracking.
G. Coordinating, preparing, and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
H. Coordinating and/or preparing tax schedules, returns, and information.
I. Managing relationships with insurance providers and ensuring compliance.
J. Managing all tax planning and compliance with all required federal, state, local, payroll, property, and other applicable taxes.
K. Managing cash flow.
L. Training and retaining the accounting department.
M. Creates departmental goals to support company goals.
N. Leads by example by embodying the Aoyama way of Wisdom, Creativity, and Respect for Humanity.
O. Lead and Mentor IT team and other departments.
P. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and 10-15 years related experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education and
experience. CMA/CPA preferred but not required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures,
or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to
effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the
general public. Fluent in English. Japanese as a second language is helpful.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions,
and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited
standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule
form.

crawl and taste or smell. The Team Member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The Team
Member must be able to lift a container of fasteners weighing up to 25 pounds on a regular basis. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth
perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is frequently
required to sit; to use their hands to finger, handle, or feel; and to talk or hear.
