ROLE OVERVIEW
The Human Resources Director, Corporate & Workshop leads and oversees the planning and execution of all Human Resources activities for Van Cleef & Arpels' Corporate and Workshop teams. This role owns the HR relationship with these teams and provides day-to-day partnership and support to leaders and employees in planning and managing their people-related needs to support business objectives and drive results.

The Director works closely with VCA leadership and Human Resources teams, both regionally and at the Group level, to continually evaluate talent-related needs, and to plan and implement leading-edge HR processes and practices that are aligned with the Maison's ambitious growth objectives. Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, and working collaboratively with the HR Director, Boutiques to drive consistency across teams, this role is instrumental in enhancing business performance through performance management, learning and development, career and succession planning, and organizational design.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide collaborative HR Business Partnership to Corporate and Workshop leaders and employees:
Provide ongoing HR-related thought leadership and coaching to grow a culture of ownership and accountability across leaders and people managers.
Partner with employees across assigned teams to continually assess skill gaps and incorporate development needs into broader HR plans, including learning and development programs, and career/succession planning.
Maintain a deep understanding of employee benefit programs, leave guidelines, payroll processes, paid time off, and other company programs and policies to support employees with managing the terms of their employment.
Partner with leaders to create and facilitate change management plans, and coach leaders to drive evolution and effectuate outcomes.
Serve as a representative of VCA's Corporate and Workshop teams, in the context of broader HR/people strategies and practices, to support consistency and alignment with business needs across the Maison.

Lead and oversee Employee Relations activities:
Champion inclusion to promote a work environment where everyone feels a sense of belonging.
Partner with Maison leaders and people managers as well as Legal team(s) to assess, investigate, and address employee relations issues, mitigating risk to the organization.
Coach managers to prevent, identify, and proactively address performance management and employee relations concerns.
Ensure manager accountability in consistently adhering to performance management protocols and procedures.

Promote an efficient and effective Recruitment process that drives the creation of a robust talent pipeline and supports the hiring of top talent:
Collaborate with Talent team to drive strategic recruitment practices across Corporate and Workshop roles.
Serve as a liaison between the Talent team and hiring managers to drive process efficiency and ensure open roles are prioritized and filled according to business needs.
Contribute to the growth of the Maison's talent pipeline.
Regularly monitor and share open position reports and turnover data for benchmarking and planning.

Drive the Maison's Performance Management and Organizational Development processes and results across assigned teams:
Provide regular HR/workforce updates to Maison leadership; reviewing and calibrating talent capabilities, skill gaps, and succession plans against business needs, providing recommendations, and contributing to business-case presentations to support promotions and shifts in organizational design.
Oversee the Maison's performance management processes, coaching leaders to proactively address performance gaps and opportunities and ensuring timely follow-up on performance improvement plans.
Partner with Maison leaders, people managers, and the Learning & Development team to design and implement training tools and opportunities that address skill gaps and business needs.
Provide coaching and guidance to people managers throughout the performance management process, ensuring that MPJ touchpoints are completed in a timely manner and review conversations promote individual and business growth.
Leverage internal HR tools, benchmarking, and analysis to effectively advise Maison leaders during the annual salary review process.

Drive compliance with all VCA, Richemont Americas, and Group Employment Policies and Procedures.
Maintain awareness and understanding of relevant U.S. and state-specific employment laws and regulations.
Execute and manage all administrative and operational processes and requirements for assigned teams.
Partner with HR Data and Analytics to compile and analyze internal and external data and apply findings to relevant decision-making.
Oversee the consistent and fair application of all HR policies and procedures, and contribute to the creation and evolution of policies and process improvements, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required; advanced degree preferred.

Professional Experience
10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, with skills in employee relations, organizational development, recruiting, and performance management.
Experience in a luxury retail environment preferred.
Experience with an international matrixed organization, a plus.

Skills
Understanding of HR best practices and talent management / organizational development principles.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly evolving priorities.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
Strong interpersonal and consultative skills to effectively manage relationships at all levels of the organization, including leadership.
Experience coaching mid-level and senior leaders to improve leadership and manage performance issues.
Excellent negotiating and conflict resolution skills.
Demonstrated effectiveness in identifying people needs, developing action plans, and delivering outcomes that impact career development and business performance.
Strong drive for results with the ability to translate complex, strategic topics into specific, understandable goals, action plans, and deliverables.
Strong verbal and written communications skills, including dynamic presentation skills.
High level of professional integrity and confidentiality.

Expected Salary Range: $180,000-200,000

Salary will be determined based on relevant skills and experience
