Are you an experienced LCSW looking for an opportunity to work in community health?

Appalachian Mountain Health ("AMH"), a Federally Qualified Health Center network based in beautiful Asheville, NC, with clinics in Asheville, Murphy, Sylva, and Robbinsville, NC, is seeking to hire a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/ Behavioral Health Therapist to join our exceptional clinical team in delivering quality-focused primary care and behavioral health services 3 days at our Robbinsville Clinic and 2 days at out Sylva Clinic.

AMH provides comprehensive, accessible, patient-centered primary care to all, including low-income, medically underserved and uninsured populations, at six locations throughout Western North Carolina. If you have experience providing counseling services; helping patients gain access to various resources and assisting them in confronting issues such as poverty, abuse, behavioral health and substance use, that negatively affect their lives, we'd love to talk to you!

Requirements

Requirements:

Master's Degree in Social Work

3+ years providing counseling services in a Clinical Setting

Strong commitment to practicing in a community health setting.

Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as critical thinking skills, the ability to handle stressful situations, and the capacity to function independently.

Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues, staff, community resources, patients and the public.

Ability to organize work, delegate, and achieve goals and objectives

High degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve AMH's mission.

Job Type: Full-time - $90,000 annually ($80,000 base pay plus an added $10,000 annually due to this being a rural/high-needs location) Plus $10,000 relocation bonus with 18 months of employment.
