What you will do:
The Senior Developer is an integral part of our collaborative and innovative IT team. The Senior Developer leads complex software projects, designs advanced solutions, and mentors junior team members. They bring a high level of expertise to drive top-tier development while ensuring seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams. Together with the Technical Lead, they champion innovative approaches at every stage of our IT process.

What you will do:

They bring a high level of expertise to drive top-tier development while ensuring seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams. Together with the Technical Lead, they champion innovative approaches at every stage of our IT process.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex software applications in collaboration with cross-functional teams;
- Design efficient, scalable solutions that meet business needs and align with industry best practices;
- Mentor and support junior developers by conducting code reviews and providing technical guidance to ensure code quality and team growth;
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to analyze project requirements and translate them into technical specifications;
- Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth application performance and a high-quality user experience;
- Participate in the full application development lifecycle, from design through deployment and ongoing support;
- Contribute to architectural decisions and improvements to systems and development processes.
To be successful in this position you will need:
- A college diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
- A minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of progressive experience;
- Bilingualism (French and English) is essential to support our operations outside of Quebec;
- Strong experience in JavaScript development (React and Node.js);
- Solid experience with cloud service environments (e.g., AWS, etc.);
- Excellent command of GIT;
- Strong experience with backend databases (PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, MSSQL);
- Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (an asset);
- Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies;
- Experience and interest in C# programming language (an asset);
- Experience with the use of artificial intelligence in development environments (MS Code, Dev Studio, Cursor, WindSurf) - also considered an asset.
