The Senior Enterprise Cloud Architect will combine advanced expertise in technology design methods across modern cloud infrastructure, network, security, application, integration, and data architectures. This individual will have an excellent grasp of technical design principles and support the development of enterprise design patterns, artifacts, and repositories. This individual will possess cross-functional architecture expertise and the ability to create new technical solution architecture designs.
This is a Senior Architect-level position within ADM's Enterprise Architecture team. It requires mature, confident communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with ADM GT leadership without supervision, as well the ability to work with detailed-level IT engineers, developers, and architects.

Job Responsibilities
- Support the definition of ADM technical Cloud roadmaps, standards, and reference architecture patterns, especially regarding cloud infrastructure, security, and networking, DevSecOps, automation, CI:CD, Infrastructure as Code, Policy as Code, Cloud service automation, etc...
- Lead cross-functional solution design efforts involving cloud, applications, integration, data and analytics, networks, and security
- Take accountability for solution requirement definitions, conceptual, and high- and low-level design artifact generation
- Lead technical design reviews
- Develop expertise in areas of technical need (e.g., for emerging cloud technologies)
- Lead or manage SaaS and Cloud Vendor review processes when required
- Manage adherence to defined architecture standards throughout the solution development lifecycle
- Provide oversight and coaching to the business, Tech Ops, and Solution Delivery colleagues for technical architecture
- Provide subject matter expertise to design, develop, and implement complex architecture in alignment with Enterprise Architecture's direction and standards
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and utilize this knowledge to educate both IT and the business on opportunities to build better target architectures that support and drive business decisions
- Support IT Enterprise governance functions (RFI's, vendor risk assessments, etc...)
- Support FinOps activities as required
- Support Multi-Cloud Strategy development
- Azure Solution Architect certification required
- 8 years of public cloud experience
- 15+ years of IT experience
- 1+ years in 1 of the following technologies: Terraform, Ansible, BICEP
- 2+ years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Ability to generate high and low level solution design artifacts using Azure services or on-premise services
- Experience conducting design reviews and architecture reviews involving Application and Integration
- 10+ years of Application and Integration experience, including experience on at least one of the following technologies: Oracle SOA, Azure App Service, Azure Service Bus
- 5+ Years of Application and Integration development experience using Oracle, SAP or Microsoft development platforms
- 2+ Years of solution technical design involving Microsoft Azure, including both high-level solution design, and detailed technical design
- 2+ years of experience working in TOGAF 9.2, Zachman, or other formal architecture framework
- 8+ years of IT technical design experience overall (either exclusively or across applications, data, cloud infrastructure, networks, or security)
- 5+ Years of architecting solutions using modern application design patterns including RESTful architectures, SOA architectures, and database level integration
- Understanding of Azure network architecture
- Understanding of Azure security architecture and identity management
- Knowledge of Azure data platforms and services
- Broad understanding of modern integration architectures
- Solid understanding of and ability to describe modern Application and Integration architecture design patterns
- Solid understanding of modern data and analytics design patterns
- Solid grasp of IT governance and controls
- Experience in software development with a variety of languages
- Experience with Application and Integration infrastructure as a service (IaaS) / platform as a service (PaaS)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Data and Analytics platforms
- Knowledge of automation platforms
- Knowledge of serverless platforms
- Strong interpersonal collaboration skills and ability to work across technology domains
- Strong verbal skills and ability to communicate both upward and down
- Excellent technical design skills
