We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced AI solutions architect to provide direct support to senior leadership, leading the firm in digital transformation. The AI expert should have 8+ years of experience creating automation in professional service environments. The architect will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve existing systems. They will use AI to transform the firm, creating more automized workflows and processes. They should be comfortable using systems/platforms that support the application of artificial intelligence and large language modelling, entity resolution and identification leading. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and architecture, with a focus on building scalable and efficient systems. The AI solutions architect also will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that meet business needs while ensuring high performance and reliability.

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and validate artificial intelligence to digitally transform current process and enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of the business.
- Efficiently configure automation within the firm, supporting multiple practice areas.
- Actively seek opportunities to optimize and enhance the firm's performance, reliability, and security through process improvements, automation, and the adoption of best practices.
- Lead the implementation of machine learning models.
- Design and develop software architecture for complex applications, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Oversee model training, evaluation, and deployment processes to ensure optimal performance of machine learning solutions.
- Execute solutions with intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Utilize natural language processing techniques to enhance application capabilities.
- Leverage proficiency in Python and SQL (and potentially Matlab, SAS, or VBA) to automate data workflows, including extraction, cleaning, transformation, and analysis.
- Translate complex data insights into clear, compelling narratives through impactful reports and presentations, empowering stakeholders to make informed decisions.
- Foster collaboration with stakeholders across the organization to share knowledge, coordinate efforts, and drive collective impact.
- Collaborate with managers, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Working closely with teams, such as product management, developers, system administrators, and network engineers, to address cross-functional issues and improve overall system performance.
- Provide guidance on best practices for development, including code reviews and architectural decisions.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to users who encounter issues.
- Construct and implement an appropriate technical support operations model to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of the firm's new configurations, procedures, and steps.
- Embrace a commitment to learning, staying abreast of cutting-edge trends and techniques in data science, financial crime, programming, and artificial intelligence.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the software architecture.
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethical behavior, ensuring that all work aligns with legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, management information systems, business systems technology, or equivalent field of study.
- Prior experience in financial crime investigations, compliance, regulatory, or consultant environments is a significant advantage.
- At least 8 years' experience in digital transformation or a related field as a technical support manager, senior analyst, or administrator.
- Must have experience with Power BI.
- Proven experience as an AI solutions architect or in a similar role within digital transformation development.
- Ability to leverage AI-generated insights or reports to inform investigative or compliance decisions.
- Basic understanding of data privacy, ethical AI use, and compliance risks associated with deploying AI in investigations.
- Ability to explain how AI can streamline tasks like document summarization, anomaly detection, or evidence extraction.
- Familiarity with AI-driven research and analysis tools Such as Chat GPT and Microsoft Copilot.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and model deployment strategies.
- Knowledge of data mining techniques and analytics tools (e.g., SAS).
- Experience in cloud platform architectures for data management and governance, security and applications deployment, following constructs associated with IaaS, iPaaS, and SaaS.
- Familiarity with natural language processing concepts.
- Demonstrated adaptability and resourcefulness in tackling diverse challenges, embracing opportunities to apply creative solutions.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and ambiguous situations, showcasing ability to navigate complexity.
