We are currently recruiting to fill the role of Consulting Financial Analyst

Location: Alpharetta, GA Required Travel: 0% - 2%

Required Education: BS/BA in related discipline or Accounting/Finance, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Position Overview: The Consulting Financial Analyst serves as a point of contact between Primetals USA, vendors, and our global partners. The candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting activities, with a focus on financial analytics, reporting, and system administration.

Duties in general to include:

Key tasks for this position include:
  • Supports different accounting activities to ensure transactions are properly recorded allowing strong financial performance for business units.
  • Conducts analyses and prepares reports that provide financial business metrics support to business operations.
  • Forecast Budgets and LRP
    • Prepare preliminary EBIT report and charts
    • Consolidated PTUS Quarterly Forecast and annual budget preparation, LRP plans
    • Prepare all input templates for the locations
    • Coordinate meetings for OI/Sales and Ebit review for forecast and budgets with segments
  • Performs financial analyses as required by management or regulatory bodies.
  • Expertise collecting, analyzing, and managing quantitative data and creating meaningful reports to drive business improvement and cost reductions.
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and integrity of financial data.
  • Prepare month-end reports and close duties as assigned.
  • Prepare the MHI year-end assessment questionnaire (Dec-Jan timeframes)
  • Various reporting to dept (legal, Insurance, Compliance dept, tax)
  • Sales and Use tax. To include:
    • Review all monthly taxable sales invoices.
    • Sales and Use tax preparation with Taxware and monthly reporting to local authorities.
    • Reconcile to the GL tax accounts Tax liability by State from Taxware
    • Report to each tax authorities Sales and Use tax collected (Monthly, Quarterly and annually depending on the respective state
  • MISC/JSOX. To include:
    • 1099-M preparation
    • Manage execution with internal audit of the MHI JSOX process
    • Manage the JSOX review with BDO / KPMG
  • IFRS 16 leases. To include:
    • Prepare Valuation of contract and reconcile
    • Set up and maintain IFRS16 leases in for all locations in SAP
    • Manage all lease payments on IFRS16 leases.
    • Maintain rent roll for new lease term and for monthly payment


Required Skills/Knowledge, Education and Experience:

Demonstrates and applies comprehensive knowledge of field of specialization to the successful completion of complex assignments.

Demonstrates advanced knowledge of concept, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization.

Demonstrates significant knowledge of organizations business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues.

10+ years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above, Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.

Excellent Microsoft Excel skills specifically Pivot Tables

Experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Experience with Hyperion and SAP

Positive and professional demeanor, excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail

Good communication and collaboration skills to interact with the Finance management and other teams at a professional and technical level.

Ability to prepare a variety of financial statements, reports, analyses to support the business.

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel (Macros, pivots, lookups)
