Test Electrical Engineer (New Graduate)

Position Summary
Thales is seeking a Test Electrical Engineer (New Graduate) in Irvine, CA. In this role, you will participate in HW design, development, test and qualification of IFEC products; provide engineering support for LRU and PCBA ATP station development and support for IFEC production and contract manufacturers. Works closely within HW test team. Communicates and interacts with the Project Engineer (PE), Industrial Engineer (ILE), to present/address status, progress, risks, opportunities, action plan(s) as necessary. Internal Customers: Industrialization Engineer, Product Engineer, NPI PM, Industrial OPS team. External suppliers and vendors: Contract manufacturers.

Total Target Cash (TTC): 92,325.00 - 123,100.00 - 154,047.00 USD Annual

Test Electrical Engineer (New Graduate)

Key Areas of Responsibility
- Responsible for LRU manual ATP station development: HW, SW, fixtures and cables, troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Supports IFE contract manufactures ATP and ATE test stations, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Supports ATE bench maintenance and HW troubleshooting.
- Responsible for timely test stations equipment calibration.
- Participates in the test activities and qualification of state-of-the-art embedded digital and analog high speed, mixed signal communication products.
- Writes technical spcifications, documents and test procedures
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in Embedded HW development test.
- Basic knowledge with Linux scripting language.
- Experience of the application SW program setup.
- Experience using spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, power supplies, soldering station.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
