Senior Salesforce Developer

Overview

Tantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus) - recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace - is seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer with extensive experience in developing HR applications and platforms, expertise in Salesforce, and a strong background in modernization and automation in cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Agile methodologies, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) automation and be adept at integrating various technologies to deliver efficient and scalable software solutions.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development and improvement of HR-focused software applications, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization and its users.
• Utilize 3-5 years of Salesforce experience to design, develop, and implement solutions within the Salesforce Employee Experience platform. Salesforce Developer Certification is preferred.
• Build and maintain applications in cloud environments, leveraging cloud technologies to ensure scalability, security, and high performance.
• Work within Agile frameworks, utilizing user stories and iterative development to deliver high-quality software. Contribute to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the software delivery process, ensuring efficient and reliable deployments.
• Use Jira for project tracking and Confluence for documentation to manage software projects effectively and maintain clear communication, and to develop solutions to meet business needs.
• Present software solutions at the executive level to both technical and non-technical audiences, showcasing the capabilities and benefits of the applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration.
• Adapt to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Quickly learn and apply new technologies and tools as they emerge.
• Design scalable and efficient software systems, employing strong architecture patterns and best practices.
• Utilize code and version control systems like GitHub with proficiency in Git Repository Processing, along with integrated development environments and other common development tools, to manage code and collaborate with the team.
• Apply expertise in database management, understanding various database technologies to support application development.
• Develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests. Understand QA processes and use automated testing tools to ensure software quality.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Salesforce platforms, forms and automated workflow.
• Salesforce Developer Certification highly desired.
• Salesforce Employee Experience platform experience highly desired.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Abilities

• Proven experience in modernization and automation in cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and version control systems (e.g., GitHub).
• Expertise in database management and software system design.
• Experience with automated testing, able to pass Jenkins quality tests, and QA processes.
• Ability to adapt quickly in requirements, technologies and tools.
• Experience with Implement full, integration, staging, developer box environment to facilitate salesforce development.

Salary Range

• Salary range is $140,000-160,000/year. The salary range for this position reflects a variety of factors that influence compensation decisions, including skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
