Position Title: Head of Applications Release Management and Production Support
Your role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to work closely with business leaders in the Lead to Contract, Contract to Report area, with IT peers to plan and execute application releases and support delivery. This role requires both technical and functional expertise. Person responsible for build a scalable release to support framework.
What you'll do
Work across application experts and development teams to build a release management process across applications.
Build a team across multi-vendor support framework to deliver service on time
Build a framework to transfer KT to support teams
Work on the implementation and integration of Vertex tax and APRO solutions with Oracle, ensuring seamless data flow between the systems.
Manage release calendars and schedules
Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for efficient support delivery
Ensure strict ITGC controls are implemented and followed.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience:
o Minimum of 8-10 years of experience working in a large Enterprise application delivery
o Experience in building a support delivery team with offshore model.
o Proven experience managing and leading end-to-end system development phases, implementing and supporting Oracle Fusion financials.
Technical Expertise:
o Expertise in extending Oracle for business.
o In-depth understanding of Oracle Financials modules (AP, AR, GL, etc.).
o Experience in data migrations, system upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Functional Knowledge:
o Deep knowledge of business processes related to financial modules.
o Ability to engage with functional stakeholders and translate business requirements into Oracle solutions.
Communication and Leadership:
o Strong verbal and written communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to foster strong stakeholder relationships, and to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
o Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing technical and business challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
Oracle Cloud experience is a plus.
Experience with Agile methodology and Jira.
