Job Description

The VP, Revenue Growth Management is a strategic position that is responsible for leading Fortune Brand's Revenue Growth Management (RGM) team focused on developing strategic recommendations related to omni-channel pricing, promotional spend, trade investment, product assortment, and pricing administration across all FBIN global business units. The role reports to the CFO& SVP Business Unit Finance.

The incumbent will possess strong leadership skills, deep analytical expertise, strategic planning capabilities, and broad financial and pricing acumen. The role will partner closely with Sales, Product, Channel, Finance, Business Intelligence, and Technology teams to develop solutions in support of Fortune Brand's key strategic initiatives.

Position location: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield, IL. Effective mid-2025, Fortune Brands will transition to a new world-class campus in Deerfield, bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices, brands, and functions. The campus will offer vibrant workspaces for collaboration, along with amenities for dining, onsite daycare, fitness and recreation.

Responsibilities:

What you will be doing
  • Drive value creation through pricing, promotions, trade investment and product assortment strategy that leads to winning positions, delivering >$20M in profit annually by 2026.
  • Extended member of BU leadership teams with direct support to the BU Presidents to ensure we have aligned strategies on revenue growth.
  • Develop, prioritize, and drive the RGM roadmap to optimize pricing, promotional spending, trade investment, rebates, and profitability of the 5 Fortune Brands BUs.
  • Ensure close collaboration and alignment with Finance, Sales, Channel, Product Management, Marketing, Technology, and Business Intelligence teams.
  • Guide end-to-end execution of RGM initiatives from ideation through end-state delivery to ensure on-time attainment of business results and transformative outcomes.
  • Ensure close alignment of Revenue Growth Management (RGM) initiatives with brand/business strategic objectives across all channels.
  • Lead a team of RGM Managers and Analysts in the development of analytical frameworks, models, and dashboards to explore relevant pricing & profitability trends and generate actionable business insights (eg, elasticity of demand, price gaps, rebates, price quotes, return on promotional investment, etc.).
  • Leverage existing pricing and promotion technology tools to optimize broader pricing strategy
  • Lead pricing administration and IMAP compliance teams across Fortune Brands
  • Establish and lead RGM operating rhythm that augments/supports existing business processes (eg, monthly business reviews, annual financial planning, pricing adjustments, routine promotion performance assessment, etc.)
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of pricing and profitability fact base that may involve multiple complex internal and external data sets.
  • Establish clear key performance indicators (KPIs) and supporting reporting/dashboards to monitor performance of key initiatives and ensure attainment of RGM objectives.
  • Create & publish recurring dashboard reports to the BU's on profitability and performance metrics
  • Translate unstructured complex business problems into well-defined projects, ensuring the team and broader organization are focused on solving the right problems with clear objectives.
  • Provide pricing expertise and thought leadership to the organization. Identify, track, and communicate key pricing trends that could impact the organization.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the 5 BU Fortune Brands P&Ls and identify risks and contingency plans related to execution of pricing strategy and tactics.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the RGM team. Manage the talent management process with an emphasis on building Fortune Brand's RGM capabilities; focus on succession planning and developing strong bench talent.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related technical field is required; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience working with RGM concepts (pricing, promotion, trade and assortment) or with business intelligence/economic data/or financial data analytics is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading a cross-functional team including Financial Analysts, BI Analysts, Line-of-Business Experts or Economics Analysts is required.
  • Experience developing solutions using large volumes of data and creating predictive models using advanced analytical techniques is required.
  • Must have problem solving skills including abstract reasoning, cause/effect analysis and innate curiosity.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and program leadership skills are required, including the ability to prioritize, plan and manage multiple tasks/demands simultaneously.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $159,000 - $262,900. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
