Hornblower Group is seeking a Director Commercial Projects for our Marketing operations in Orlando.

This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System.
About the Opportunity:
The successful Director of Commercial Projects will be adaptable and able to contribute in many ways to commercial projects within Sales and Marketing. They will direct and assist in the driving of multiple opportunities within Business Development, including but not limited to Sales Leadership and Development while liaising with key stakeholders in Entertainment, Partnerships, Group Sales, and Global Contact Centers. The ultimate responsibility of this position is to undertake specialized products within Sales and Marketing while contributing to the overall growth and development of commercial projects within the department

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the crafting and updating of our performance management system
- Assist in the tracking and reporting of all sales performance of account managers and directors
- Liaise with Human Resources partners as well as Sales and Marketing leaders on the administration of all new hires and performance management related functions
- Tracking, projecting, and reporting all staffing needs for global sales group
- Oversee all functions for global sales including: sourcing, interviewing, and placement of candidates, evaluating current processes and opportunities, and ongoing development
Assist in the management, coaching, and performance of both probationary new hires and remediated account managers - Oversee various projects that coincide with the development of the department, including: live entertainment events, sales development, global contact centers, and specialized sales programs
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience in sales, sales management, training, and/or staffing
- Executive communication experience
- Travel, hospitality, or transportation experience preferred
- Listen effectively, assess the situation, determine relevant issues, & suggest solutions
- Have a working knowledge of computer skills, including but not limited to proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites
- Must be able to effectively understand and convey written and verbal information to coworkers and clients
- Demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate with and influence others without direct reporting lines
- Strong ability to structure problems and resolve roadblocks
- Must be comfortable with frequent travel
- Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to changing environment
