Role will be located in our Tampa, HQ - Must be based in or willing to relocate to Tampa, FL, with the ability to work onsite five days a week to collaborate with the leadership team.
We are looking for someone who has:
Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy to support Mad Mobile's growth, including preparing the company for potential strategic activities which may include M&A. Restructuring: Analyze current financial performance, identify areas for operational improvement, and implement actionable plans to enhance profitability and efficiency, ensuring a sustainable path to continued growth. Financial Levers for Growth: Partner with the leadership team to identify and communicate key financial levers (e.g., cost optimization, revenue diversification, capital allocation) to drive scalable growth, presenting complex financial concepts in a clear, actionable manner. Financial Planning & Analysis: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to provide insights that inform strategic decisions, ensuring alignment with short- and long-term business goals. Capital Raising & Cash Flow Management: Lead efforts to secure capital to fuel growth initiatives, while optimizing cash flow to maintain financial stability during turnaround efforts. Operational Excellence: Collaborate with department heads to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve financial performance across the organization, particularly in support of sales readiness. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team, delivering transparent financial reports and strategic recommendations to guide decision-making. Represent Mad Mobile to investors, lenders, and other external stakeholders as needed. Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration aligned with Mad Mobile's values. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, maintain robust internal controls, and proactively manage risks to safeguard the company's financial health.
What Makes You a Perfect Fit?
Experience: 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or senior finance role, ideally within a technology or high-growth company. Proven success in business restructuring, preparing companies for sale or exit, and driving financial growth strategies. Previous M&A and PE capital funding experience a plus.
Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required; MBA or CPA preferred.
