Warehouse Construction Project Manager

Tesla is looking for a highly motivated individual to manage our Infrastructure Development and Industrial projects in the North America. This person must have a construction background, with project management experience. We are seeking someone with strong skills in planning and executing projects that are both new and existing. This role will be directly managing Warehouse and R&D projects across North America with proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners. This is a full-time position that requires the flexibility of traveling when needed (up to 60%).

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end project oversight, from real estate handoff through design, construction execution, and final handover
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and controls to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously across all phases: concept, design, execution, and punch list resolution
• Direct contractors, enforcing standards for safety, cost, schedule, and quality
• Track project budgets and deliver forecast reports to management with precision
• Coordinate site inspections with local AHJ and contractors to meet regulatory and project closeout
• Create data-driven PowerPoint presentations with charts and graphs to communicate progress to diverse stakeholders

Requirements

• Minimum of 4+ years in construction and project management, with experience in manufacturing R&D and/or warehouse infrastructure strongly preferred
• Degree in Construction Management or equivalent, plus 4-6 years of field experience, or equivalent experience
• Deep knowledge of construction administration, including contracts, budgets, construction documents, change orders, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and material procurement
• Good communication skills, with the ability to discuss technical topics with contractors, engineers, and cross-functional teams
• Proactive problem-solving skills-spotting potential issues early and addressing them effectively
• Strong grasp of forecast planning and budgeting
• Exceptional PowerPoint skills for creating clear, impactful charts and graphs
