Position Overview:

Atrium partners with multiple enterprise clients to lead specialized Direct Sourcing programs. In this growing vertical of our business, we are seeking a dynamic Senior Contingent Recruiting Manager to lead our small yet impactful recruitment team. This role requires a passionate leader who excels in motivating teams, driving a vision for success, and maintaining accountability through effective reporting. The ideal candidate will be client-facing, demonstrating progress and addressing challenges with transparency. A player-coach mindset is essential, as the Manager will actively participate in recruitment efforts while guiding their team to achieve outstanding results. This leader will work closely with the VP to co-create and implement the strategies that will grow our Direct Sourcing division to new heights. Responsibilities of the Senior Contingent Recruiting Manager will include a diverse variety of tasks, such as leadership of the team of Recruiters and Recruiting Coordinators; effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and clients; tailoring Client support and service delivery to ensure optimal program success. This is a diversified leadership position that requires time management, critical thinking skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented client-serving environment. The Senior Contingent Recruiting Manager must be a resourceful initiative-taker who is able to work independently, as well as with internal teams and external customers.

Responsibilities of the Senior Contingent Recruiting Manager:

  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and mentor a small contingent recruitment team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    • Drive the vision for success, setting clear goals and performance metrics for the team.
    • Regularly report on team performance, challenges, and progress to internal stakeholders and clients.
    • Maintain a hands-on approach, stepping in to assist with recruitment processes as needed.
    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top-tier contingent talent.
    • Ensure exceptional client experience and candidate care throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
    • Collaborate closely with the VP to optimize recruitment efforts for enterprise clients.
    • Utilize talent tech solutions to enhance recruitment processes and team efficiency.
    • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in contingent recruitment.
    • Lead internal hiring efforts for the team including sourcing, interviewing, and offering extensions, and delivery of services.
    • Lead onboarding, continuous training, and development of Recruiters and Recruiting Coordinators.
    • Provide firsthand recruitment and coordination support and innovative solutions as needed for the team.
    • Responsible for the accountability and performance of your team inclusive of Recruiting Coordinators and Recruiters
    • Organize and lead productive team meetings inclusive of note-taking, assignment of action items, and follow-ups.
    • Consistent and effective use of analytics (Recruiter/Coordinator Scorecards) KPIs and SLAs to ensure strong results.
    • Ensure best-in-class usage and leveraging of technology tools.
    • Oversee daily managerial activities like timesheet approvals, performance reviews, etc.
    • Manage outsourced recruiting providers as needed inclusive of assigning metrics, performance management, and commission payouts.
  • Client Support
    • Attend regular weekly and/or monthly client and MSP Meetings to adjust and execute recruitment strategy in collaboration with client SME (subject matter expert).
    • Effectively manage communication and escalations with MSP partners and associates.
    • Participate and execute Direct Sourcing client implementation activities as needed.
    • Collaborate with Recruitment marketing to ensure effective and timely execution of Client Newsletters and analytical reporting of those results.
    • Make recommendations based on client results and experiences for improved Recruitment Marketing solutions.
    • Support execution of regular and ad hoc reports (biweekly or monthly depending on client) and assist with quarterly and annual business reviews.
    • Deliver and design candidate and client survey results. Analyze and report results. Suggest process improvements where needed.
    • Manage client escalations and stakeholder requests.
    • Participate in and complete implementation-related Direct Sourcing activities.
    • Effectively manage any VMS or ATS issues, tickets, or updates as needed in the absence of the Recruiter SME.
    • Assist in temporary worker recruitment efforts as needed.
    • Other projects and tasks as directed by your manager on an ad-hoc basis.


Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Contingent Recruiting Manager:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a leadership role within an agency, Managed Service Provider (MSP), or Direct Sourcing (DS) program.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Proven track record in client relationship management and candidate care.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Passion for talent technology solutions and a desire for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.


Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Contingent Recruiting Manager:

  • Previous experience managing recruiters in a Direct Sourcing/RPO model is preferred.


Physical Requirements:

  • Working hybrid schedule for a minimum of 3 days in the Holmdel Office (Bell Works Building).
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Minimal travel as needed.


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
