Job Summary:
This position is accountable for implementation of investment strategies for Bell Bank's Wealth Management Division. Working with members of the Bell Wealth Management Department and Bell Institutional Investment Management Department, this position implements overall investment strategy, provides economic analysis and client investment reporting.
Responsibilities
Advisory Responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivering the Bell investment experience to clients, providing actionable advice, market insight and reporting on investment results.
- Manages accounts in accordance with investment objectives that have been developed with the client.
- Provide specialized advice, financial planning, and actionable insights to clients, as well as analyzing program health and strategies.
- Responsible for maintaining and growing assets under management. Additionally supports and may lead the sales efforts of the business through the introduction and expansion of financial services to the client.
- Executes risk management practices through the adherence to Bell's policies and procedures.
- Supports other Advisors in the market through coaching and participating in client meetings of complex portfolio discussions
- Establish and maintain accurate portfolio structure in compliance with client's investment objective records or investment policy mandates.
- Analyze investment purchase and sale options.
- Understand the effect of purchase and sale of transactions on portfolio structure.
- Understand the relationship between investment portfolio and economic conditions.
Client Investment Reporting
- Prepare and present investment reports to private client and institutional client investment committees.
Additional Duties
- Lead or sit on wealth management committees, based on experience
- Act as liaison between wealth management advisors and the Bell Institutional Investment Management team
- Continuously look to improve how Bell works and communicates with clients.

Education, Experience, and Other Expectations
- BA. with CFP designation (or in the process of obtaining designation) is preferable. CFA or CPA designation will also be considered.
- Ten years or more of related work experience.
Skills and Knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of investment portfolio theory and practice.
- Knowledge of fixed income and equity securities and trading practices.
- Thorough understanding of statistics and quantitative analysis.
- Knowledge of economic theory and practice.
- Knowledge of spreadsheet software and financial information systems.
- Problem solving skills.
- Ability to think and work independently in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate complex topics professionally.
