This role isn't just about maintaining systems-it's about mastering them. As a seasoned technician, you'll lead complex troubleshooting, spearhead automation projects, and ensure critical manufacturing equipment performs at peak productivity. If you're someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys problem-solving on a deep technical level, and takes pride in mentoring others, this opportunity will challenge and reward you every step of the way.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Serve as the go-to expert for diagnosing and resolving advanced equipment issues, including servo drives, PLC systems (especially Siemens), and process control technologies.
  • Lead the design, upgrade, and integration of control systems to improve output efficiency and product quality.
  • Coordinate with planners on preventive maintenance strategies and upcoming work scopes.
  • Oversee electrical and automation-related schematics, ensuring all documentation is current and accurate.
  • Provide real-time technical support-both on-site and remotely-to ensure operations run smoothly around the clock.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to execute solutions, support capital projects, and minimize downtime.
  • Analyze recurring issues, implement root-cause solutions, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians, creating a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
What You Bring:
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
  • A minimum of 10 years working specifically with PLC-based systems (Siemens expertise strongly preferred).
  • Deep understanding of servo drives and various process control systems.
  • A two-year technical degree in automation, electrical engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced Siemens programming knowledge (Level 3) with proven ability using Sematic Manager, TIA Portal, and WinCC.
  • Strong familiarity with Lenze and SEW drives, vision systems, and Allen Bradley (AB) controls.
  • Capable of programming HMI interfaces and troubleshooting network communications like Profibus, Profinet, DeviceNet, and Ethernet.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools including VOMs and meggers.
What You'll Work Around:
  • A production floor that can reach high heat and noise levels-requiring focus, stamina, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • An environment that values self-driven individuals who take initiative and solve problems independently.
  • A team-oriented workplace where clear communication and respect across departments are essential.
Additional Info:
  • Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday (with flexibility for call-ins as needed).
  • Travel for training may be required.
  • Must be comfortable reading schematics, lifting equipment, and working in hot, dusty conditions.

If you're looking for a role where your expertise shapes performance and drives efficiency, this is your next move.
