Key job responsibilities
Based in Seattle, WA, this HR Leader will partner with the VP of People eXperience Foundations (PXF). This role will be responsible for the development and execution of HR strategies and initiatives, inspiring an indirect team of HRBPs, as well as being a part of the PXT HR team.
This role will help senior leaders look around corners with data-driven recommendations that improve team effectiveness, build leader capabilities, and innovate improvements to the employee experience.
This role will also work closely with other HR, Program, and Science resources and teams to drive key initiatives and projects in areas such as such as global organization health, diversity, and talent management.

About the team
This role will support the PXF team under a Vice President within the broader Amazonian Experience & Technology (AET) organization. PXF owns technology platforms and products that engage with Amazonians broadly as well as products that are specialized for HR roles. The product portfolio of the team includes over 18 products including A to Z, Learn, Clarity, Time & Attendance, Maple, PXT One, and HR Service Center (HRSC).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years' work experience in an HR Generalist/Business Partner role including, performance management, change management, and employee experience.
Bachelor's degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience owning multiple geography or global HR strategies
Excellent coaching skills; experience coaching senior leaders
Experience supporting technical organizations or being in a tech role
A role model for the use of the concepts and skills we teach and exceptional commitment to our Leadership Principles
Able to manage workflow, with minimal oversight, in a fast-paced environment with multiple and sometimes changing priorities
Able to work both on a team and independently to deliver results
Experience dealing with ambiguity and moving quickly to solutions/recommendations
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Superior employee relations and influencing skills
Strong analytical skills. Experience using and presenting data to make decisions
Experience managing cross-functional projects and initiatives
Experience working with: Microsoft Office, project management software, SharePoint
Master's degree preferred

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $139,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $230,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
