Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and manage Dayforce HCM with a sustainable model that enables the Canadian business. Execute Sofina's technology roadmap focused on optimal use of the platform and champions increased user adoption;
- Maintain system tables and configuration for various modules including HR, Benefits, Entitlements, Recruitment, Onboarding, Security, Organizational structure, Workflow Management and Employee/Manager Self Service. Designs and implements new/changing functionality or modules;
- Produce regular human capital/total rewards metrics and data/reports, responding to queries, interpreting and evaluating stakeholder needs to satisfy reporting requirements;
- Processes or approves transactions in a timely manner in accordance with process standards
- Works closely with the Total Rewards team to support data management/configuration for ongoing activities such as merit, benefits open enrollment, collective agreement settlements, org changes, etc.
- Ensures Sofina's human resources information is secure, reliable and accessible to authorized users, and that associated business processes are maintained;
- Assess the impact of system maintenance and upgrades through review of vendor's pre-release notes, testing, identifying and addressing any risks or concerns through vendor prior to implementation; Keeps abreast of emerging/new functionality and presents recommendations for adoption
- Develops and maintains system and user information, training materials, guides and makes available to all users;
- Delivers user training as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Math or related discipline is required.
- Minimum 5 years' in-depth knowledge and experience with comprehensive human resources information systems, including management of an HCM/HRIS with direct relevant experience with Ceridian Dayforce strongly preferred; Certification in Dayforce training is an asset
- Project management and change management skills preferred
- Solid understanding of Total Rewards in a large corporate and multi-unionized environment
- Strong collaborator/influencer establishing key relationships across the business
- Ability to construct effective communications
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, and takes initiative.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced matrix environment.
- Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
