Functions as the Cardiology Service Line Manager in the North East (NE) supporting CW standards of care through the coordination of patient care activities. This position reports administratively to the Service Line Administrator for the Herma Heart Institute (HHI) and works in partnership with the CSG Regional Medical Director in the Northeast, NE Director for Ambulatory Services, and NE Ambulatory Manager. The NE manager will oversee all operations of the congenital cardiac services, echocardiography and graphics laboratories, management of the clinical staff including nurses, sonographers and exercise physiologist, and oversight of echocardiography diagnostic/stress equipment and assist in the onboarding and training of new staff and students.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or related clinical field. Masters degree preferred.
  • Must possess current State License as a Registered Nurse or must be a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - specialty in Pediatrics.
  • Five or more years healthcare experience required. Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and problem solving abilities in order to resolve complex clinical, systems, budgetary and personnel issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, physicians, clinic/hospital staff and community.
