Job Description
- Executes I&I engineering deliverables for in-riser and open water products.
- Collaborates with the customer and provides engineering solutions satisfying customer operations.
- Executes the development of specialty equipment needed to support customer operations.
- Ensures engineering deliverables are compliant with customer, industry, and Federal Regulations.
- Creates and reviews engineering deliverables on time and under project budgets
- Reports health status on assigned projects to sub-system engineer or project manager.
- Proactively monitors product performance trends of I&I in-riser and open water products.
- Collaborates on product improvement and new product development opportunities.
- Supports failure investigations and executes corrective actions for product improvements.
- Executes engineered solutions to improve underperforming I&I in-riser and open water products.
- Supports planned and unplanned technical support during onshore/offshore
- Participates in Services Technical Readiness Reviews (TRR) and After-Action Reviews (AAR).
You are meant for this job if:
- BS degree in engineering or equivalent with at least 2-4 years of experience in engineering or related fields.
- Project engineering skills with ability to plan and manage project deliverables within budget and schedule.
- Ability to work and foster communication within a team oriented and diverse cultural environments.
- Working knowledge of API 6A, 17D, 17G, TR8, ISO 13628-7 and Federal Regulations is preferred.
- Sound understanding of engineering principles, design methods & calculations.
- Good organizational and lean problem-solving skills.
- Service and Customer oriented
- Demonstrated ability to knowledge sharing
- Independent learning for continuous professional development
- Articulate and substantiate own point of view to peers and supervisors.
- General understanding of economic factors (cost, profit, impact of decisions) affecting product development.
- Offshore experience running Completions or Completion Workover Risers preferred
- Ability to prepare applicable technical information and suggest design or process changes to ensure functional and cost-effective results.
- Self-initiate of work with limited supervision and direction.
