SSI is seeking a Space & Counterspace Intelligence Analyst for a role in Colorado Springs, CO. The applicant will support the technical analysis, development and operational integration of data analytics for mission-critical efforts for our customer. In addition, the applicant will provide support to enable operational/strategic assessments through access to all source intelligence and coordination/collaboration with the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) as they relate to space equities.
Role and Responsibilities:
Research, author, and coordinate space threat assessments fusing diverse sources of threat information.
Assist our customer in the characterization of the red/Blue factors threat environment to enhance existing and future defensive capabilities related to space protection.
Produce high-quality reports and communications for dissemination of findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Apply knowledge of networks/technology and experience with customer tools and databases to identify, extract, and analyze pertinent information and provide technical analysis to address intelligence gaps.
Conduct a variety of analytical methodologies to support predominantly technical issues including network analysis, link/relationship discovery analysis, temporal analysis, and other quantitative methods.
Apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to developing new principles and concepts.
Provide fused intelligence analysis to inform the current space threat environment and support the development of future counterspace strategies.
Required Qualifications
SSI has a target salary range: $120,000 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Required Qualifications
- Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI, must be willing to take a Poly.
- Must have (9) years of overall experience.
- 3 years of experience with all source intelligence analysis.
- 3 years relevant experience with the IC and/or DoD and three (3) years technical Space/Counterspace experience.
- Bachelor's degree; Additional years' experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to develop and present leadership decision-quality briefings and papers.
- Demonstrated problem-solving/critical thinking in complex and dynamic environments.
- Understanding of the IC, including roles and responsibilities across various IC organizations.
- Familiarity with IC reporting, sources, dissemination mechanisms, and tradecrafts.
- Experience in collaborating with IC professionals and understanding informal/formal IC tasking mechanisms.
- Experience working in classified, compartmented, and Special Access Program/Special Access Required environments is required.
- Ability to meet with IC counterparts including travel.
- Understanding of the outer space environment and operations as well as counterspace threats, especially pertaining to space-based weapons.
- Experience with space/counterspace threats and capabilities in various orbital regimes desired.
