Expected pay for this position is $39.13 - $46.03/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Clinical Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of designated departments. Assists the Manager in financial, capital and human resources to ensure services meet established quality and productivity standards. Ensures the provision of high-quality services in accordance with Medical Center and regulatory requirements. The position is responsible for all aspects of personnel management and supervision. Perform laboratory bench assignments as needed.

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Associate's degree in medical laboratory technology, medical laboratory science, or clinical laboratory science AND 4 years' Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA) laboratory training or experience AND 1 year experience with progressive responsibilities and demonstrated leadership abilities (such as technical lead, coordinator or key operator, leader of special project or committee, primary clinical educator, etc.) in Laboratory Services or a clinical/healthcare setting.
OR
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, clinical, or medical laboratory science, or medical technology AND 2 years' CLIA laboratory training or experience AND 1 year experience with progressive responsibilities and demonstrated leadership abilities (such as technical lead, coordinator or key operator, leader of special project or committee, primary clinical educator, etc.) in Laboratory Services or a clinical/healthcare setting.
Licensure/ Certification:
- If highest level of education is associate's degree: American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or American Medical Technologist (AMT) certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively and communicate with patients and other health care professionals.
- High level of professionalism and skillful performance in stressful situations, ability to develop and sustain strong staff and interdepartmental relationships.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills necessary to organize and direct the work of others and effectively manage multiple tasks and initiatives.
- Moderate proficiency with Microsoft applications and solid computer skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science, or medical technology.
Licensure/ Certification:
- American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or American Medical Technologist (AMT) certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
