We're on the lookout for a sharp, strategic, and collaborative Director of FP&A to lead financial planning and analysis across our growing performance media agency. In this high-impact role, you'll report directly to the CEO and partner with teams across the business to guide decision-making, improve performance, and help us scale smartly.

What DELVE Offers:
The base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $170,000 per year. In addition, you will be eligible for an annual performance-based bonus tied to individual and company-wide goals and objectives. This bonus structure is designed to reward exceptional performance and contributions toward Delve Deeper's overall success.

What You'll Do:
- Work directly with the CEO and leadership team to shape financial strategy and support big-picture decisions.
- Lead our annual planning, forecasting, and long-range modeling processes-making sure we're planning ahead and staying agile.
- Help us figure out where to invest, how to grow profitably, and where we can be more efficient as we scale.
2. Bring the Numbers to Life:
- Build and maintain reporting tools and dashboards that make it easy to understand how the business is performing-by team, client, service line, and more.
- Analyze trends and performance metrics (margins, ratios, avg $ rate per team member, etc.) to find opportunities, flag risks, and guide smarter decisions.
- Own monthly actual, target and forecast updates and variance analysis, and help us stay on track financially.
3. Make Finance a Team Sport:
- Work closely with teams across Growth, Practice Areas, and Corporate Services, to align financial goals with what's actually happening on the ground.
- Provide financial support and guidance on pricing, new service launches, client profitability, hiring plans, and more.
4. Build for Scale:
- Build out and lead the FP&A function-developing processes, improving systems, and growing the team.
- Set the standard for financial planning and performance tracking as we continue to grow and evolve.
5. Keep Us Covered:
- Lead financial reviews for new client opportunities, helping assess risk and alignment with agency goals.
- Collaborate with Accounting and Client Leadership to stay on top of margins, contract performance, and resourcing.
- 10+ years in FP&A or strategic finance, ideally in a fast-paced, client-service business (agency/media/marketing is a big plus).
- At least a couple years in a leadership role-you've built or scaled a finance function, mentored others, and know how to manage up and across.
- Comfortable with forecasting, financial modeling, and building tools that help teams make better decisions.
- Great communicator-you can break down financial insights in a way that's clear, helpful, and actionable.
- Proactive and resourceful-you don't wait to be told what needs fixing, and you're always looking for ways to improve.
- Organized and detail-oriented, but not afraid to move quickly when needed.
- Super Strong with Excel/Google Sheets and familiar with FP&A tools and dashboards (bonus points for experience with Looker, Power BI, etc.).
Bonus Points
- Experience in performance advertising or a media agency environment.
- Familiarity with marketing metrics like ROAS, CAC, or media efficiency.
