Filterbuy, a leader in the air quality and manufacturing world, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Process Quality Engineer to join our team in ensuring the highest standards of product quality in our air filter manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and improving production processes, identifying quality issues, driving root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions that enhance product reliability, customer satisfaction, and manufacturing efficiency. This role will report to the Head of Quality based at our Talladega location.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Monitor and analyze manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and customer specifications.
• Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives for product defects and process non-conformities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Control Plans and Process Flow Diagrams for production lines.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to support process optimizations driving internal alignment with company targets.
• Conduct internal audits, process capability studies, and statistical process control (SPC) to identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain measurement data and gauge calibration.
• Work closely with production, engineering, and R&D teams to support new product introduction and process validation.
• Participate in the evaluation and qualification of new materials, equipment, and suppliers.
• Lead internal and external product testing to establish and maintain compliance to industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, process adjustments, and corrective actions.
• Support ISO 9001 compliance and assist in regulatory and customer audits including development of internal procedures and process work instructions.
• Train production staff on quality control procedures, standards, and best practices.

Required skills and qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably in filtration, HVAC, or automotive industries).
• Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, DOE).
• Proficiency in using measurement instruments, SPC software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred:

• Green Belt or higher Six Sigma certification.
• Experience with ERP systems and quality modules.
• Prior exposure to air filtration manufacturing processes is a plus.
