Manager, Data & Analytics Development, plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality and safety standards of our pharmaceutical products. Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include leading the development, modernization, and administration of the organization's data analytics solutions. This role encompasses management of the data warehouse, business intelligence (BI) system administration, implementation and maintenance of analytics and data visualization solutions. The role supervises and coordinates the efforts of both offshore and onshore BI teams, ensuring the prompt delivery of intuitive and actionable insights. Moreover, they will work closely with the data science and analytics enablement team to incorporate data solutions into daily operations and strategic decision-making processes. What the Manager, Data & Analytics Development Does Each Day:
- Manages and optimizes the enterprise data warehouse environment, ensuring performance, reliability, security, and scalability
- Administers and maintains BI platforms, ensuring availability, access control and support
- Leads the modernization and enhancement of dashboards and reports, ensuring sophisticated design, intuitive usability, and effective visualizations of data and insights
- Collaborates with stakeholders to understand their data and analytics needs, translating complex business requirements into modern analytics solutions
- Manages an offshore analytics development team, providing clear direction, mentoring, and performance oversight
- Develops and maintains analytics development standards, processes, and best practices to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability across solutions
- Conducts regular assessments and improvements of analytics architecture, tools, and methodologies to align with evolving business goals and technological advancements
- Ensures compliance with data governance, data quality policies, processes, and standards
- Partners closely with the Manager of Analytics and AI Enablement and the Manager of Data Science to support the design, development, testing and implementation of analytic and AI/ML solutions
Our Most Successful Manager, Data & Analytics Development:
- Has working knowledge of one or more ERP, CRM and quality manufacturing systems
- Has strong SQL query writing skills in a Microsoft environment
- Is Proficient with Microsoft PowerBI
- Has experience writing reports focused on concepts such as sales, inventory management and production manufacturing processes
- Is skilled with customer interactions that promote adaptive and effective use of data solutions
- Effectively manages multiple projects and activities on a routine basis with minimal supervision
- Has excellent communication skills including oral, written and public presentation
- Has experience testing and evaluating the quality of data sets, algorithms and visualizations
Minimum Requirements for this Role:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Analytics, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role
- Proven experience managing and collaborating with offshore development teams
- Strong expertise with data warehousing technologies (e.g., Snowflake, SQL Server, Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse)
- Hands-on experience with BI and analytics reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, Looker)
- Excellent understanding of data modeling concepts, ETL processes, and data integration
- Demonstrated experience modernizing BI tools and visualizations, translating complex data into intuitive and sophisticated insights
- Experience collaborating closely with data science teams to implement analytics solutions leveraging AI/ML
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse business units and technical teams
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; QuVa will not sponsor applicants for work visas

- The base compensation for this role is estimated to be within the range described below. The compensation offered may vary depending on relevant factors such as experience, skills, training, education, certifications, geographic location, and market conditions
- Range: $115,000 - $185,000 Annually
- This role is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus, subject to program terms and guidelines
