We are looking for an accomplished leader to provide guidance, vision and development for the Imaging, and Cardiopulmonary Programs at GVH. This Director will consult with Radiologists, Staff, and Senior Managers to establish and implement strategic plans for the operation and development of services provided. The Director communicates the vision of the future state to all stakeholders and adjusts when necessary.

Requirements: To be seriously considered for this role, you'll need to have:
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Allied Health Administration or equivalent education and certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography
Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience of experience as a Radiologic Technologist with specific experience in the provision of general radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography services. The Director will have had demonstrated experience in personnel supervision, equipment management, and successful physician relations. Prior successful Imaging Services Department leadership of 3 or more years is preferred, but not mandatory. Maintains current competency for the performance of radiographic studies that from time-to-time are performed personally (general radiography, fluoroscopy, CT, portable and emergency). Maintains performance such that thorough patient studies, using standardized criteria, is the consistent standard of care provided.
Licenses/Certification: Certified in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, and CT certification also preferred. Member in good standing with the America Healthcare Radiology Administrators, preferred. Maintenance of current CPR/BLS.

- Working to establish and maintain the departments policies and procedures
- Fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Evaluating radiographic/fluoroscopic exams and procedures ensuring that department criteria are being followed
- Possesses critical knowledge of department operations and functions
- Develops and monitors annual operating budget, studies and understands the variation
- Manages day-to-day operations by supervising and coordination the technical and administrative aspects of imaging services
- Will provide direct patient care and serve as a Radiologic Technologist when required
Compensation:
- $1832.38/weekly - $2469.19/weekly salary DOE
