Job Description
Job Title: Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant
Job Specialty: PTA Home Health
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
Guaranteed Hours: Facility can call off up to one shift per pay period
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of skilled home health experience
License: Pending license accepted
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
Must-Have: Experience with Oasis
Job Description:
- Provide home health physical therapy assistance in designated county and surrounding areas.
- Maintain patient ratios at 1:1, with a potential of visiting up to 6 patients per day.
- Oasis experience is required; please ensure to identify experience in applications.
- This facility does not accommodate 4x10-hour or 3x12-hour shifts.
- First-time applicants will not be considered.
- No weekend or on-call requirements.
- Travelers are not required to float between different units.
- The facility does not accommodate block schedules.
- Locals considered as residing within a 50-75 mile radius are accepted at the same rate.
- Reliable transportation is required, as the traveler is expected to drive.
- Clients are grouped effectively to minimize travel time, with occasional drives exceeding 50 miles radius.
- Wear scrubs in any basic color as attire.
- Charting will be done using EPIC/Oasis systems.
- Orientation includes 40 non-billable hours.
- Modules are required pre-start and annually, with self-reported completion.
- Providers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may affect assignments.
