Your Opportunity at ARC'TERYX:

As the Manager, FP&A, Creative, Merchandising and Supply Chain , you will be the primary business partner supporting the Chief Creative Officer (CCO), Chief Merchandising Officer (CMO), Chief Supply Chain Office (CSCO)r and GM Veilance, coordinating month-end deliverables, leading variance reviews and supporting ad-hoc projects providing insightful financial data for decision making. You will partner closely with various teams and leaders across the business to lead strategic analysis, performance reporting, planning and forecasting.

Financial Planning & Analysis at Arc'teryx is responsible for providing leadership with the information they need to review past performance, understand business trends, and anticipate future profitability and financial position. Through review of historic financials, variance analysis and KPI tracking, FP&A advises leadership on key investment decisions and performance improvement.

If you were the Manager, FP&A, Creative, Merchandising and Supply Chain here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
    • Being the primary business partner to the CCO, SMO, CSCO and GM Veilance supporting them with annual budget and subsequent reforecasting of their controllable operating expenses
    • Collaborating with the FP&A team to analyze variances against forecast, budget, and prior-year results on a monthly and quarterly basis, providing actionable insights to senior leadership
    • Acting as a key advisor to C-Suite where you see opportunities for opex savings to help drive profitability and growth
    • Serving as a key business partner working directly with senior leaders to provide business recommendations related to long term strategic planning, key investment asks aligned with our global growth projections and performing scenario modeling as needed
    • Supporting the identification of tools and initiatives to improve FP&A data, processes, and reporting systems, sharing those with the broader FP&A team
    • Managing opex related system loading into Arc'teryx Financial Planning Software (Oracle) on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
    • Assisting with the design and maintenance of accounting, budgeting, and reporting systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency
    • Coaching and mentoring analysts across the FP&A team on budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and process improvements to enhance the overall FP&A function


Are you our next FP&A Manager, Corporate Functions?
    • You have a professional accounting designation, degree in Accounting or equivalent
    • You have 7+ years proven experience in a Financial Analyst role or equivalent
    • You have advanced analytical skills with a strong aptitude for MS Excel and PowerPoint
    • You have exceptional attention to detail
    • You are highly proficient in accounting systems and business intelligence (BI) tools
    • You can prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines
    • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
    • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
    • You can balance autonomy and collaboration
    • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
    • You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment

Assets:
    • International business experience
    • Experience with SAP FICO and Hyperion
    • Experience in multi-platform, multi-currency environments


$106,000 - $146,000 a year

A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$106,000 - CAD$146,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. The upper end of the range is typically reserved for candidates with demonstrated expertise that is above job requirements or who bring exceptional directly transferable experience.
