Job Description:
- Coordinate multiple research protocols and serve as a liaison with investigators, clinical staff, and research personnel.
- Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct philosophy and Mission and Value Statement.
- Complete training requirements by the specified due date.
- Accurately complete study medication order forms and ensure physician or appropriate designee signature prior to medication administration.
- Perform routine operational activities for multiple research protocols.
- Liaise between site research personnel, industry sponsors, and supervisor.
- Collaborate with various site departments and hospital administrative representatives, including the local Institutional Review Board, if applicable.
- Coordinate protocol schedules of assessments from initial submission of feasibility to study closeout.
- Coordinate submission and approval for the Facility Review Committee, if applicable.
- Provide instruction on research protocols to staff, including interpretation of test results and related study data to clinical staff.
- Assess the patient and document findings at each clinic visit while adhering to protocol requirements.
- Document specific tasks required by the protocol, such as medication forms, quality of life questionnaires, neuro exams, and vital signs sheets.
- Accurately calculate and document required conversions, per protocol.
- Document all interactions with patients while enrolled in a protocol, including follow-up and survival.
- Ensure follow-up appointments, imaging, or any related procedures are scheduled correctly according to protocol requirements.
- Accurately complete data requests and submit with source documentation within the specified timeframe.
- Generate and track drug and device shipments, and supplies as needed.
- Ensure timely and accurate data completion and report adverse events, protocol deviations, and violations.
- Communicate all protocol-related issues to appropriate study personnel or manager.
- Re-consent patients in a timely manner and document the process appropriately.
