Schedule: Full-Time, Days
Salary: $115,000 - $145,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
Bonus: 15% Annual Performance-Based Director Bonus

We are seeking an experienced Director of Emergency Services to lead a high-performing Emergency Department team in Tallahassee, FL. This leadership role focuses on driving service excellence, patient satisfaction, operational efficiency, and strategic growth. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented nursing leader with a demonstrated history of improving key performance metrics, patient outcomes, and team development in a busy acute care Emergency Department.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide operational leadership and strategic direction to the Emergency Department
• Foster a culture of excellence through mentorship, staff development, and team collaboration
• Oversee quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Enhance patient and employee experience through proactive rounding and performance management
• Manage departmental resources, including budgets, staffing, and clinical workflows
• Collaborate with physicians, executives, and department leaders to achieve organizational goals

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years of recent experience as a Director in a high-volume acute care Emergency Department
• Proven success in leading teams, improving clinical performance, and managing complex operations

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
• Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Licensure/Certifications:

• Active RN license or eligibility for licensure in Florida
• BLS certification (required upon hire)
• ACLS and PALS or ENPC certification (required)

Emergency Department Overview:

• Bed Count: 34
• Daily Volume: Approximately 130 patients per day
• Trauma Level: Non-trauma facility
• Team Size: About 45 Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs)
