Job Description:
  • We have an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager, People Listening Surveys.
  • As part of our efforts to continually improve employee experience and strengthen our culture, you will support the development of people listening strategies and lead the implementation of listening tools, process, data analytics and action planning to improve restaurant and corporate culture and employee engagement.
  • The role is essential to ensuring that our people have a voice in shaping an inclusive, productive, and engaging workplace.
  • This individual will work closely with HR, leadership, market listening leads and vendors to ensure listening solutions and surveys capture meaningful insights and drive actionable changes
  • Support Survey Strategy Development:
  • Support Survey Strategy Development: Partner with Listening Strategy Team and other stakeholders in the development people listening strategies tailored to the restaurant and corporate environment.
  • Provide survey subject matter expertise to ensure targeted data and insights can be captured to inform employee engagement and culture initiatives.
  • Advise on Survey Best Practices: Stay up to date with the latest trends and innovations in survey practices, employee engagement, and restaurant n, implementation and analytics to inform listening strategy.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on best practices in people surveys, employee engagement, and restaurant culture to continuously improve the survey process and impact.
  • Survey Design:
  • Lead Questionnaire Design: Partner with Listening Strategy Team, local markets, Legal and other stakeholders to develop and refine survey questionnaires, ensuring that questions are clear, relevant, and designed to generate actionable feedback.
  • Lead Survey Methods Design: Develop and implement different survey methodologies (e.g., pulse surveys, annual engagement surveys, exit surveys, ongoing listening, cultural assessments) to address specific objectives and timelines for the business.
  • Survey Execution:
  • Co-Lead Listening Survey Deployment: Co-lead the execution of listening solutions with Listening Strategy team across restaurant and corporate locations, ensuring maximum participation and a representative sample of employees.
  • In partnership with Listening Strategy team, manage survey logistics, tools, and platforms for seamless execution.
  • Lead Survey Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with survey vendors and manage day-to-day operations to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of survey data and services with high quality.
  • Support Communication: Develop a clear communication plan to encourage participation in surveys, ensuring employees and franchisees understand the purpose, importance, and confidentiality of the process.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with people leadership and operation teams to align survey timing, budget, process and design with organizational priorities.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis:
  • Lead Survey Data Report Development: Lead the development and configuration of data reporting on survey platforms.
  • Design data reporting user interface and user-experience (UI/UX) for the roles of leaders, managers, franchisees and staffs, ensuring survey insights are effectively communicated to stakeholders.
  • Assist Survey Data Analysis: Provide necessary support to People Insights Team to identify key trends, patterns, and insights that reflect the current state of restaurant and corporate culture and employee sentiment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in listening and survey design and processes, ensuring that surveys evolve to reflect changing employee needs and organizational priorities.
  • Support action planning: Assist Listening Strategy Team in building tools and communications to empower corporate and restaurant managers to develop action plans based on survey feedback.
  • Project Management & Team Collaboration:
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including HR, operations, market and restaurant leadership, to ensure alignment between listening strategy and survey objectives and the business's culture and employee experience goals.
  • Project Leadership: Co-lead survey-related project implementations with Listening Strategy Team, including timeline management, resource allocation, and coordination across multiple stakeholders, ensuring surveys are executed on time and with high quality.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, business or a related field preferred.
  • Experiences in project management, especially complex projects that require global and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency in survey technology, systems, process, tools, and vendor management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in survey creation, technology, and management for large, diverse organizations.
  • Expertise in Employee Engagement surveys, Customer Experience surveys, or related fields.
  • Extensive project management experience, including project planning, stakeholder alignment, and resource and vendor management.
  • Highly organized with a proven track record in driving process improvements and aligning strategies with business priorities.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR compliance and data privacy regulations.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Positive attitude, self-starter, and a willingness to learn.
  • Proven ability to influence others and build a compelling business case for people as growth drivers.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional and cross-country partners in a matrixed environment.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and a growth mindset.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in survey design, process, deployment, data analysis and action planning to improve corporate and restaurant culture and employee engagement.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
