Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Manager to lead and coordinate new product development projects. The Program Manager will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, in direct people management, and troubleshooting. This role ensures that project results meet technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the brand leadership and Product team to develop and maintain a detailed 3-5yr product plan.
  • Lead or coordinate project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, people management, and troubleshooting for engineering projects.
  • Ensure project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost.
  • Set direction and deploy resources effectively.
  • Influence and negotiate with parts of the organization where formal authority is not held.
  • Acquire broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities.
  • Be accountable for business, functional, or operational areas, processes, or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.
  • Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of business or technical support or production teams.
  • Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion and coordinate work activities with other supervisors.
  • Make decisions and solve problems guided by policies, procedures, and business plans, with guidance and oversight from the manager.
  • Spend no more than 20% of time performing the work supervised

Required and Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in program management, product development, and/or engineering leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience in leading and coordinating projects.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience using project management tools and software.

Working Conditions:

This role will be onsite. Regularly required to work in outdoor conditions, lifting parts and pieces up to 50 lbs., traveling up and down stairs on a constant basis, sitting, squatting, and bending in various awkward positions for certain lengths of time - including working overhead, traveling in and out of work areas, walking and being on your feet for a majority of the workday. Exposed to noise, dust, and fumes daily. Pushing and pulling material carts. Physical exertion is required.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $100,900 - $160,800 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate's qualifications and the business context.
