Pay Range: $45.00 - $58.00 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and confident RN Manager to lead a high-volume Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit in Houston, TX. This is a key leadership opportunity within a nationally recognized women's health center, overseeing one of the busiest L&D units in the state, with over 800 births each month.
This role requires strong clinical judgment, outstanding leadership abilities, and a passion for maternal and newborn care. As the RN Manager, you'll be responsible for operational oversight, team development, quality improvement, and coordination of patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, outstanding leadership abilities, and a passion for maternal and newborn care. As the RN Manager, you'll be responsible for operational oversight, team development, quality improvement, and coordination of patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily clinical operations for a 15-20 bed Labor & Delivery unit
- Coach and support nursing staff to drive engagement and accountability
- Oversee quality and safety initiatives to improve maternal and newborn outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, directors, and interdisciplinary teams for seamless care delivery
- Ensure compliance with all clinical, safety, and regulatory standards
- Manage staffing, budgeting, and performance tracking
- Serve as a clinical role model and mentor for bedside nurses
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Texas
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- 3-5 years of recent acute care Labor & Delivery leadership experience
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (required within 6 months of hire)
- BLS and NRP certifications required (NRP within 6 months of hire)
- ACLS preferred
